Cross reference Tables
Cross-reference tables between OIML Recommendations and WELMEC Guides are intended to support manufacturers, notified bodies, market surveillance authorities, and other stakeholders in understanding the relationship between the requirements contained in the respective documents.
These tables are informative guidance documents and should always be read in conjunction with the relevant OIML Recommendation and WELMEC Guide. They identify corresponding requirements and indicate the extent to which the provisions of the referenced OIML Recommendation are addressed by the relevant WELMEC Guide, in particular with regard to software-related requirements. Where necessary, explanatory remarks are included to clarify the scope of coverage or specific differences between the documents.
The cross-reference tables are provided for guidance purposes only and do not replace or modify the requirements contained in the original normative documents.
