7th WELMEC e.V. Committee Meeting to be Held in Brno, Czech Republic

The 7th WELMEC e.V. Committee Meeting will take place from 21 to 23 April 2026 in Brno, Czech Republic.

The meeting will bring together representatives from WELMEC Member countries, as well as Corresponding and Observer organisations. It will serve as an important platform for discussing key developments in European legal metrology, reviewing the progress of WELMEC Working Groups, and addressing strategic and regulatory topics relevant to the field.

During the meeting, participants will exchange updates on ongoing initiatives, including developments related to European legislation, coordination of technical work within WELMEC Working Groups, and future priorities for cooperation in legal metrology across Europe.

The Committee Meeting will be kindly hosted by the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ) in Brno.

WELMEC Committee meetings play a central role in strengthening cooperation among national authorities responsible for legal metrology and in supporting the consistent implementation of European legislation related to measuring instruments.
