Announcing the 4th WELMEC Webinar: Workshop on Software Examination with the WELMEC Software Guides

WELMEC is pleased to invite all interested experts to the 4th WELMEC Webinar, held by Working Group 7 (Software).

The webinar, entitled "Workshop on Software Examination with the WELMEC Software Guides 2026", will take place on 14 September 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST.

The webinar, entitled "Workshop on Software Examination with the WELMEC Software Guides 2026", will provide participants with practical guidance on the application of the WELMEC Software Guides for software examination in measuring instruments. The workshop is intended for both newcomers and experienced experts who wish to deepen their understanding of the current guidance and exchange experiences with colleagues from across the legal metrology community.

The webinar will feature presentations by:

Marko Esche – Introduction
Jeroen Rommerts – Software Examination for Starters – Guide to the Guides
Martin Nischwitz, together with members of WELMEC Working Group 7 – Interactive session on the application of the WELMEC Software Guides to elementary measuring instruments, followed by an open discussion and Q&A.

The workshop is designed as an interactive session, encouraging participants to engage in discussions and share practical experiences related to software examination and risk assessment.
