WELMEC e.V. successfully held its first webinar covering issues and challenges of the MID and NAWID on November 23. The webinar was aimed at all bodies working in legal metrology that have encountered or have an interest in uncovering the challenges of the MID and NAWID.
Lectures were given by experts from the Czech Republic (CMI), Belgium (FPS Economy), Germany (PTB), Sweden (SWEDAC), Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMBIH) and WELMEC Liaison organizations such are European Commission (DG Grow), CECIP, CECOD, and AQUA.
Topics covered encompass MID, NAWID, societal challenges and legal metrology, measuring instruments and digital transformation, perspectives from the European Commission and measuring instruments industry, and opportunities for further harmonization. Materials presented are available for all interested audiences at the 1st WELMEC webinar event page.
The webinar was successfully held with more than 160 participants.
