GUIDE SUMMARY:
This document provides terms and expressions with metrological relevance in the English version of the Measuring Instruments Directive 2004/22/EC and compares these terms and expressions with those used in other relevant documents like Recommendations of the International Organisation of Legal Metrology (OIML), the International Vocabulary of Metrology (VIM), and relevant international and European standards. In particular the “closest synonyms” will be referred to.
